Artist Statement

In the metaphorical context of the process of making, this painting narrates the morphism of elements from the different states of physical matter. You can either work your way from the restrained structure of solid to the flow and viscosity of liquid then evaporating to the gaseous movement of Brownian motion, all random and chaotic which then burst into the electrifying state of plasma. The spatial-visual quality of this work is not only meant to be evocative, but it also aims to explore altered states of consciousness. The space represented here can either be regarded as microscopic or expansive in terms of scale. Whichever way you see it, this artwork tends to lure you into a sense of infinity that one sense in moments of transformation
